What I Do, I trust in Jesus.
~Third Day
Talk about one of the most funnest experiences of my life. My three friends and I took a road trip to Washington D.C. As you can see, I was very excited to use my camera. What was supposed to be a three night, four day stay, became a four night, five day stay. We looked at colleges, visited the Smithsonian Museums, and viewed the monuments. Of course I shopped at the pentagon mall. This is just a few of the hundred photos I took. The weather was beautiful so I was able to wear shorts. Bringing out my summer wardrobe was so exciting! Getting back into the swing of things has been difficult. I'm looking for a new job with lots of hours hopefully. Today though I'm just reminding myself that nothing gets done with our own hands. God asks us not to lose heart, but to take courage and wait for him. (Psalm 27) I'm a control freak and one of the hardest things I deal with is fixing things with my own hands, instead of letting God work in His own timing. Thats what makes His timing perfect. Everytime I put something back together with my own two hands, it crumbles to pieces. I love the Third Day song I quoted above, I trust in Jesus. Truly because He is the only one who loves me, and knows whats best for me. He is my deliverer. Remember that, Jesus is your deliverer. Whatever is hurting you, whatever seems impossible...He's there to take it away.

Comfortable
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell?
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor.

Grace like Rain
Grace like rain. The last few days, there was supposed to be large rain storms in my area. Today it turned out to be sunny and beautiful. It also happens to be the best brother in the world's birthday. I finally went to the gym, and my afternoon was spent eating icecream and strolling through neighborhoods with very large houses. Me and my friend also had to do some quick shopping where we caught DSW ten minutes before close. DSW is a hit or miss kind of store, today was a hit! Minnetonka moccasins are my favorite. I love the authentic Indian look, and the fringe! Guess how much they were? Drum roll please! $13! Finished my night off with Shannon watching a movie. The fact that God gives us grace just as freely as the rain falls from the clouds in the sky to the very ground we step on. I don't deserve it, yet He loves me enough to shower me in His grace. Thank you God! Tommorow marks spring cleaning!

Saturday Morning Coffee
Right now my bum is firmly planted on the couch with a warm cup of coffee in my hand. Today is the day that The Lord has made. I have many plans for this week and I can't wait. I'm hoping today that I'll get to go thrifting! I read the book of Habakkuk yesterday and honestly it's probably my favorite. My study bible included a note about how weary and anxious Habbakuk was growing about the evil that was continuing..."Why was this happening, why haven't you stepped in God?" But then in the next chapter God responds....
This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed. “Look at the proud!
They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. (Habakkuk 2:3, 4 NLT)
It will be fulfilled. Those words are like music to my ears. God he has a perfect time for everything. Now prayerfully and hopefully this week will go alright! Don't lose heart!

Quite Dandy
So today it's a long awaited 70 degree's outside! Hallelujah! I had to go into work early this morning, and it almost seems like my day has been better since I got up early! Tomorrows weather is supposed to be even more beautiful than today! What do you think of my bright new clutch? $16.00 T.J.Maxx! Nothing like starting spring off with something bright. It means sandal weather is coming, which leads to me painting my toes. Literally because I usually end up getting it all over my ties and everywhere... I hope wherever you are that your having a blessed, beautiful day and remember not to lose heart!
